The State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan answered the most popular questions about submitting a tax return in 2024, Liter.kz reports.

– What property must be reflected in the “Other property” section of the declaration of assets and liabilities?

– This section reflects property in Kazakhstan, including outside the country, if the estimated value of a unit of such property exceeds a thousand times the MCI (3.5 million tenge).

The section is filled out at the request of the individual. It is possible to reflect property that is not subject to state registration in Kazakhstan. For example, paintings, diamonds, cultural property, purebred animals, jewelry, etc.

– What is the liability if I provided incomplete or incorrect information in the declaration of assets and liabilities?

– If you have provided incomplete, unreliable information in the declaration of assets and liabilities, but this does not entail the accrual of taxes and other obligatory payments to the budget, then you will be held administratively liable in the form of a “warning”.

For a repeated offense within a year after the imposition of an administrative penalty – entails a fine in the amount of three monthly calculation indices (11,076 tenge in 2024).

– Do I need to indicate loans received from banks in the declaration?

– Bank loan agreements are not subject to reflection in the declaration.

– Is it possible to correct declarations?

– Citizens have the right to correct errors or inaccuracies reflected in the declaration on their own by submitting an additional declaration within the limitation period (three years).

– What income is not subject to reflection in the declaration 270.00?

– From this year, the need to reflect income taxed at the source of payment (salaries, interest on deposits, pension payments, benefits) has been eliminated.

Let us recall that the document obliging Kazakhstanis to submit a new form of declaration “On Assets and Liabilities” was adopted on December 10, 2020. Universal declaration is being introduced in Kazakhstan in stages.
