The tourists surveyed by the online service mentioned the seven attractions that disappointed them, reports Aviasales.
The company’s specialists conducted research among 17 thousand users. 26 percent of them said that if they go to Paris, they can not visit the Eiffel Tower. According to experienced tourists, you can look at the tower from a little distance and admire it, avoiding queues and crowds at the cash register.
The Blue Mosque in Istanbul disappointed 19 percent of respondents. “It was not blue, and there were a large number of people inside and it smelled bad,” they noted.
16 percent of the respondents regretted going to the Egyptian pyramids. They complained about the piles of garbage and noted that “due to the expansion of Cairo, some pyramids can be seen from street cafes.”
13 percent of tourists were not impressed by the swallow’s nest in Crimea. They noted that the place is beautiful only in photos, or from the sea, and “approaching it, the admiration disappears.”
One in ten users complained about the Charles Bridge in Prague. they called it an ordinary stone bridge.
The list is rounded off by the Peeing Boy in Brussels and Versailles in the suburbs of Paris.
