The second stakeholder meeting was held for the Advanced Biological and Chemical Central Wastewater Treatment Plant in Denizli Organized Industrial Zone

The second stakeholder participation meeting was held regarding the Advanced Biological and Chemical Central Wastewater Treatment Plant planned to be built in the region by Denizli Organized Industrial Zone Directorate. Officials of workplaces within the OIZ, companies operating in the Pınarkent industrial area, public officials and residents of Pınarkent Neighborhood were present at the meeting.

Within the scope of the World Bank-financed Turkey Organized Industrial Zones Project, the second stakeholder participation meeting was held by the Denizli Organized Industrial Zone Directorate regarding the new Advanced Biological and Chemical Central Wastewater Treatment Plant with a capacity of 30 thousand m3/day, planned to be built on parcel no. 54 in the Koyunaliler Neighborhood of the Pamukkale District, within the approved zoning boundary with the approval of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, whose ownership is registered with the Regional Directorate.

The second and closing meeting of the Stakeholder Participation and Information Meeting, organized to inform the public about the activity and to receive their opinions and suggestions in accordance with the World Bank Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Study for the project in question, was held in the Denizli Organized Industrial Zone Directorate Meeting Hall. The meeting was attended by business officials within the Organized Industrial Zone, company officials operating in the Pınarkent industrial area outside the Organized Industrial Zone, representatives of public institutions and organizations, farmers who own lands neighboring the area where the activity will take place, and local people.

At the meeting, Ministry of Industry and Technology official, Environmental and Social Expert Burcu Kırdar, consultant company official Hatice Çınar, experts and Denizli OSB Treatment Plant Manager Environmental Engineer İbrahim Ereşme informed the participants about the project.
