“Hraparak” newspaper writes: “Coordinator of the committee for the protection of the fundamental rights of the people of Artsakh, Vardan Oskanyan, members of the committee, Karen Bekaryan, Gegham Stepanyan, MP of Artsakh, had a 2-hour meeting with Artsakh deputies yesterday. Last week they met with media editors.
Oskanyan presented to the people of Artsakh the meetings held abroad in the past 2 months regarding collective repatriation of the people of Artsakh and protection of other fundamental rights. He told that they had many meetings with various officials, representatives of the international organization, including Toivo Klaar. He said that he will make all possible efforts to resolve the issue of the rights of Artsakh citizens and especially repatriation.
He noted that this path is not easy, because not only is such a program not being implemented at the state level, but also the attempts of others to implement such a program are hindered. Incidentally, RA ambassadors accredited to different states establish contact with the former official of the given state, with whom they met, and urge them to refrain from such meetings, as they are allegedly hindering the process of establishing peace with Azerbaijan.
Nevertheless, Oskanyan assured that the works will continue. He said that a division of labor was made between the members of the committee, one will advance the political line, the second – legal. Karen Bekaryan was assigned the mission of keeping the topic hot in Armenia. According to Oskanyan, the smallest chances should be used, if not for today, at least for the future.”
