The republican environmental campaign “Taza Kazakhstan” has started

On April 8, a large-scale environmental campaign “Taza Kazakhstan” began throughout the republic. It will last five weeks, each of which will be devoted to a specific topic, Liter.kz reports..

The first week, which ends on April 13, is called “Taza Olke” – during this seven-day week, residents of populated areas, social activists, employees of organizations and enterprises will clean adjacent territories and courtyards.

The week until April 20 will be called “Kieli Meken” and is dedicated to work on improving the territory of historical and cultural monuments.

Until April 27, the week with the theme “Zhasyl Aimak” will be marked by planting tree seedlings and whitewashing of plantings.

The period until May 4 will be called “Onegeli Urpak” and is dedicated to cleaning and landscaping the yards of veterans and the areas of nursing homes.

In the last, fifth week, called “Moldir Bulak”, the surrounding areas of reservoirs – rivers and lakes – will be cleared of debris.

Regions are actively joining this campaign. For example, in Almaty the republican action will be held as part of a citywide campaign. The campaign is called “Almaty – our common home”, its goals are:

– increase the level of public culture among the urban population;

– to teach a thrifty attitude towards city property;

– put a barrier to boorish and antisocial behavior in public places;

– introduce a level of zero tolerance for vandalism and damage to city facilities.

As part of the campaign, charitable and cultural events will be held that teach Kazakhstanis to be good neighbors and mutual assistance, promote responsible behavior and adherence to generally accepted norms of interaction in society.
