The races of the bikers at the MotoFest held for the first time in Tunceli were breathtaking. 120 athletes competed on difficult tracks to get a place.
MotoFest, which was organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in cooperation with the Governorship, Spor Toto Organization Presidency and Turkish Motorcycle Federation, was organized in Tunceli. 2 thousand motorcycle enthusiasts, who came to the city from all corners of the country, attended the festival in Örenönü Nature Park after the necessary procedures. A ‘motor tour’ was organized in the first 2 days of the festival to promote natural, historical and cultural beauties. Motorcyclists started from the Munzur Valley National Park, known for its richness in terms of endemic species and wildlife, to Ovacık, starting from the highway passing by the Munzur Stream, which flows through mountains covered with oak trees. Then he visited the Pülümür valley, which was recently declared a sensitive area to be protected.
On the last day of the festival, tracks were created for the races in Örenönü Nature Park. In the races in which 120 motorcyclists participated, the athletes competed fiercely to rank on difficult tracks. Awards were given to the athletes who placed well in the races that the audience watched with bated breath. The festival, which lasts for 4 days in the city, will end after the concert at night.

The President of the Turkish Motorcycle Federation (TMF), Bekir Yunus Uçar, stated that the event was productive and that approximately 50 thousand people participated in the festival, and said, “As the Turkish Motorcycle Federation, we came together again in Tunceli for another value-added sports organization. Our organization, which started with concerts at the festival on Thursday, continued with the fierce competition of the most successful Turkish athletes with the Super Enduro GP race yesterday and today. The final races of the races, where the qualifying rounds were held yesterday, were held today. We had the opportunity to present and show all of Turkey these natural beauties, this tourism and this most exciting sports performance to watch. The governor is a serious motorcycle enthusiast. We came here upon his invitation. We made our analyses and when we looked at the concert and audience performance, especially on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, on average of four days, we saw that nearly 50 thousand people came to this event area and benefited from the events, sports events and social activities here. We were very happy.”
