The protests at the University of Ioannina continue

Student associations of the University of Ioannina express their intention to continue the mobilizations this week as well. As is known, they are reacting to the bill for the establishment of non-state universities that has already been submitted to the Parliament.

From Monday, the students started general assemblies with a proposal for five-day sit-ins and other actions, as well as their participation in the nationwide rally that will take place in Athens on Friday, March 8, the day the bill is passed.

One day earlier, that is on Thursday, they are organizing a gathering in the Region of Epirus and a picketing will follow which will end up at the Castle.
