Anton Bykov, Esperio’s chief analyst, said that the bitcoin exchange rate is expected to drop sharply from $18,000 to $10,000 per token in January 2023.
“In January, prices will probably continue to fall due to the general negative situation in the market and may reach $10,000 per coin,” he stressed.
According to him, it is not necessary to wait for the next rally until 2024:
“The nuances of the industry itself, where there have been numerous events that have negatively affected the reputation of digital assets in the past six months, must also be considered.”
Publika.az reports that Bykov clarified that the demand for cryptocurrencies remains at a low level due to the difficult economic situation in the world.
“Promoting cryptocurrencies has become a bit awkward because the victims of the FTX cryptocurrency exchange crash include a large number of large professional participants. It will take months for the negativity to disappear,” he concluded.
Note that on January 12, the bitcoin exchange rate exceeded $18,000 for the first time since mid-December 2022. However, the bitcoin exchange rate was already falling sharply after the rise, last November the world’s main token lost 23% of its value in two days to $15,800. Earlier, Twitter founder Jack Dorsey urged bitcoin owners not to keep all their savings in the world’s main cryptocurrency, because “no one can be trusted” when it comes to financial assets.
