The Polish supermarket loved by the Czechs is in trouble. Customers are losing patience

The Biedronka chain of stores, where many Czechs also shop, has big problems in Poland. The Portuguese chain has been operating in our northern neighbors for 30 years and this year wants to expand into Slovakia. However, customers are now complaining about it more and more often.

Currently the Moje Biedronka application complicates people’s lives more, which after the update works much worse and sometimes does not work at all. Many Czechs who like to shop in the chain also have this application. The Polish website Onet.pl writes it.

With the latest software version, turning on takes a long time, freezes, or requires verification by entering a phone number and code each time. This therefore significantly increases the usage time of the application. The chain admits the problems. “We currently have a temporary technical problem, the resolution of which we are working intensively on. We will inform you about the resolution of the situation,” written to customers discount.

According to him, a similar problem arose several years ago and already then the Polish Office for Economic Competition and Consumer Protection and its employees attributed it to technical difficulties.

The rating of the Biedronka app in the Play Store has dropped to 1.4 stars out of five. At the same time, customers use it thanks to favorable events. When the payment request at the checkout is unsuccessful and the customer does not have the card with him, he only has two options. Either wait patiently for the system to work and spend a lot of time in the store, or pay a higher price.

But the problems don’t end there. “People have long been complaining about pallets placed everywhere in the store, which prevent them from moving. It is said that it is often impossible to pass them with a shopping cart. They also draw attention to the fact that the products that should be kept in the cold they remain for long hours on pallets in the center of the warehouse,” the Polish portal also states.
