The Poetry Festival crowns Moroccan creators

In its eighteenth session, the “International Festival of Poetry and Zajal” revealed the results of its final qualifiers, which were organized by the Badra Association for Communication and Social Development.

The first prize in the colloquial poetry category was won by the representative of the city of El Jadida, Fatiha Bilali, and the representative of the city of Casablanca, Mohamed Haddish, won second place, while the bronze medal was awarded to the representative of Errachidia, nicknamed “Majzoub Tafilalet,” Abdelaziz Benaissa.

In the category of poetry or vertical poetry, the jury awarded the first prize to Idris Wedadi, representative of the city of Casablanca, the representative of Zagora, Yassine Iderbaz, won the silver prize, and Mounir Bahous, the representative of Oujda, won the third prize.

As for the prose poetry category, the first winner was Khadija Mabrouk, the second prize went to Soraya Zayed, the representative of the city of Muhammadiyah, and the third prize was withheld.

The eighteenth session of the Poetry and Zajal Festival celebrated poets; Among them are the representative of the city of Taroudant, the poet Abdullah Al-Hawari, the representative of the city of Beni Mellal, Eid Aliwat, and the poet Hayat Al-Mallah.
