Tunisian Omar Ben Wanis, the physical trainer for the Raja Sports Football Team, expressed his happiness at winning the Professional League title with the “Eagles” after a major struggle with the Royal Army, in a historic season for the “Green” team without defeat.

Ibn Wanis said, in a statement to “Hesport”, “I will not hide from you a secret that 6 months in Raja passed as if it were two seasons in another team. This is how the big clubs with a long history and wide fan base are.”

The spokesman added: “I am happy to win the Moroccan League title with the Green Eagles, which is my third title with the team after two previous titles.” Working at Raja is a pride for every coach, physical trainer or player. Raja is great with its history, its audience, and its own identity.”

The same physical trainer continued: “The season was hard. We worked hard, with love and dedication in order to please Raja fans everywhere. Praise be to God, we achieved what we wanted, but the focus remains great on winning the Throne Cup title and achieving the double in a historic season.”

He concluded his statement by saying: “I thank the club president, Mohamed Boudriga, for his trust in my person, and his efforts despite his health conditions, because he attended to everything big and small. I also thank the players for their dedication, as well as Brigadier General Anas Zaniti, those involved, and the Rajawi fans for their support.”

Omar Ben Ouness has previously won the African Confederation Cup and the Mohammed VI Champions Club Cup, in addition to achieving runner-up in the professional league with Tunisian coach Lassaad Chebbi Jarda.
