During a press conference held prior to the concert of Ghost This Friday, June 14, at the Velaria of the Expo Feria Gómez Palacio 2024, the man from Durango answered some questions from this publishing house.
El Fantasma recently ventured into rap, a different genre from his musical project (focused on sierreño, norteño and banda), so he shared that it was time to do different things, without leaving aside his style.
“Rap was there, I have always been a fan of them” he explained on this topic, called Keep doing your thingcolaboration with G. Bone, Devil Hole y Sick Jackets.
About his song Sabor a michelada, which is more cumbiera, he said that “You have to go through the cumbia styles that make people in the audience dance”.
He also spoke about The Corrido of Olegariowhich premiered with Aztec Group this Friday, promising that “many good collaborations are coming.”
And soon there will be more new music: “We are working on the album Carteles volume 2, we are about to release it with the favor of God, I only need about one, two, three songs to finish it.”
Finishing this project, he will focus on a tribute album to José Alfredo Jiménez, one of his greatest idols. “There is an official video for each song, there are 10 songs.”
Then he went out to please his La Laguna audience with a two-hour concert.
