The oujya of leadership – THE NEWS

There are often slick platitudes about politics being about parties, ideologies and agendas rather than personalities – more or less mechanistic interpretations of the ‘push the button and out comes the fat’ style. That an event is born blindly, without judgment, choice, will and without the decision of a specific person. Without the coup d’oeil (the glance, according to Clausewitz) of any leader who takes the initiative and the responsibility – but it is not like that. Politics is not robotically produced by a craft machine that produces identical T-shirts or overalls. (Where did you remember them?)
