Lancia was once one of the famous Italian car manufacturers, but in recent years it has become rather extinct. It operated only in the domestic market, where it offered only one model. At the same time, the brand first introduced the Ypsilon city sedan in 2011, and even several modernizations could not completely hide it.
As part of the creation of the Stellantis group, of which the Lancia brand is part, it was decided that the car manufacturer would return to the limelight. The Ypsilon model will begin to lead the way, but in a new generation, which is expected to premiere this year.

The car manufacturer has already revealed the new product several times, now several images have appeared on Masera’s Facebook profile, revealing the car completely without camouflage. Its new front stands out with three lines of daytime running lights and round headlights at the corners of the bodywork.
The blue bodywork is completed by black decorations and the characteristic Lancia lettering. A striking element are also the round rear lights with the motif of the lying letter Y, while the wheel arches are then filled with black wheels with silver details.

One of the cabin photos shows the digital instrument cluster and infotainment display. The screens are more or less the same size, but probably not in a single panel. The central tunnel then forms an unusual table under the dashboard, as the car manufacturer has already revealed in the official materials.
The new Lancia Ypsilon should be officially presented on February 14, as recalled by the Carscoops website, which also drew attention to the leaked photos. Under the hood there should be both a hybrid and a pure electric powertrain, with the technology likely to share components with models such as the Peugeot e-208 or Jeep Avenger.
