PAMI has signed agreements with universities across the country to offer free university courses and socio-preventive workshops. The spaces, according to the social security entity’s platform, are designed to continue studying and sharing spaces with other members.

The workshops are promoted by PAMI as well as by retirement and pensioner centers throughout Argentina. The objective is to learn, think, move and share good times. This free program is called UPAMI (University for Integrated Senior Adults) and there are in-person, virtual and mixed courses.
How to participate in PAMI’s free workshops
To participate in any of the PAMI courses or workshops, it is not necessary to have previous studies. The available places will depend on the provisions of each institution where they are taught. In all cases, the socio-preventive workshops will be in person.
Those who wish to register must access the page by copying and pasting the following link into the browser: Those who cannot do so must go to pami.org.ar and select the “Services” tab. There they will search for “Preventive Activities and Programs” and then “UPAMI University Courses” where the link will appear to choose the university where the activity will be held.
Once you log in, select the topic of your interest and the course or workshop you want to take, depending on the course modality – in-person, virtual or mixed. Interested parties can choose a maximum of five courses and three workshops. The page will request data from the registrant to confirm that they have joined the course.
After registration, each workshop facilitator and teacher will contact their students by email or phone and will indicate the next steps to begin the activity.
