On Sunday afternoon, the Prosecutor’s Office, through its social networks, announced the capture and said that the arrest was through an arrest warrant that the Investigative Public Ministry requested from a Control Judge.

The individual was identified as Eliud Guadalupe “M”, although they did not give age, origin and the possible motive for the crime.

The Agent of the Public Ministry requested and obtained the aforementioned order from a Control Judge, after presenting the elements that implicate the detainee in the aforementioned crime recorded on April 19 in the Azuarera neighborhood,” they noted in the statement.

The suspect was placed at the disposal of the jurisdictional authority that will determine his legal situation.

Noe is part of the “Fuerza y ​​Corazón por Tamaulipas” coalition and was seeking re-election as mayor of Mante.

The murder occurred at a time when he was on the street as part of his proselytizing activity.
