A tribute marked by music and gratitude
The tribute to Yeison Jiménez was attended by renowned exponents of popular music such as Jessi Uribe, Paola Jara, Luis Alfonso and Pipe Buenoamong other artists and close friends, who accompanied the family in this last goodbye.

In the midst of her farewell, Luz Mery Galeano recalled the pride and admiration that Yeison Jiménez always expressed for her, highlighting the fight she undertook to move it forward.
“My son, fly calmly. Go to heaven. Here is your heroine,” he said firmly, before adding: “I want you to enjoy eternal life calmly, with pride in your mother.”
Her words not only reflected the love of a mother, but also the story of sacrifice and support that marked the life of the artist, who on multiple occasions spoke publicly of his mother’s fundamental role in his career and personal life.
The song that became a farewell
The mother of the popular music singer confessed that days before she had heard a song whose lyrics she found beautiful, without imagining that it would end up becoming the farewell soundtrack of his son.
“I never thought it would be to say goodbye to you. I dedicate it to you forever. The day we meet I will sing it to you, my love,” he said, without revealing the name of the musical piece.
