Lacan, the exhibition: when art meets psychoanalysis (in Metz)
He was, for a time, the owner of The origin of the world, famous painting by Gustave Courbet. Throughout his life, the psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan (1901-1981) maintained privileged relationships with the works of art and artists of his time.
