The Mazhilis sent 18 bills to the Senate in two months

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the Chairman of the Mazhilis Erlan Koshanov, Liter.kz reports with reference to Chord.

The Chairman of the Lower House of Parliament reported:

• Over the past two months, the Mazhilis has adopted and sent 18 laws for consideration to the Senate. These are amendments on combating domestic violence, on issues of digitalization, science, doing business, liability insurance for medical workers, transfer pricing, population migration;
• Deputies are working on three codes at once – Budget, Water, Construction, as well as a number of important bills.

Erlan Koshanov also spoke about the work of the AMANAT party.

Particular emphasis is placed on the party projects “Auyl Amanaty”, “Zher Amanaty”, “Karyzsyz Kogam”, developed to implement the President’s initiatives aimed at improving the well-being of citizens. All projects are focused on solving specific problems of the population and have received high support from society, the presidential press service said.

Thus, within the framework of the “Zher Amanaty” project, more than 10 million hectares of land were returned to the state in two years. In January–February, 15 thousand people were trained in financial literacy under the “Karyzsyz Kogam” project. By the end of 2024, it is planned to train 750 thousand Kazakhstanis.

Today, March 1, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also received Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov.
