The wave of pressure against Baku is rising from Europe: the agenda has been shaken for two days when PACE did not approve the credentials of the Azerbaijani delegation, sent it to the Monitoring Committee, and took away the right to vote.
The organization justifies this step with various claims. Among these claims, one of the main points is that observers from PACE were not invited to the presidential elections to be held in Azerbaijan on February 7. And it seems that the main point is the elections. If it’s the other way around, that is, if the main point is related to the “Lachin” border crossing point, then why should PACE bring up its unfair action regarding the Azerbaijani delegation, not in the autumn session, but now?
The development of events suggests that the core of the growing wave of pressure from Europe against Baku is not issues such as “human rights”, which they claim, but rather political goals. And the main target is Ilham Aliyev.
February 7 elections will be the beginning of a new era in the political history of Azerbaijan. Not only because the voting process will be held for the first time in every part of the country, including Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur, but also because the people of Azerbaijan have already chosen Ilham Aliyev. When Ilham Aliyev started the Patriotic War, when he liberated the occupied lands, planted the flag in Shusha, took revenge for the Khojaly genocide, and held a military parade in Khankendi, he won this and all the elections that will take place after that. Ilham Aliyev, who changed Azerbaijan’s history of two centuries of defeat with Victory, cannot leave politics even if he wants to, because the people of Azerbaijan will not agree to it. The people have one demand from the leader who gave them the victory: to protect what we have won, to consolidate the victory and to make it eternal… Is that all?
Ilham Aliyev’s excellent interview on January 10, 2024, which can be considered a road map for the future of Azerbaijan and sheds light on political and national ideological directions, showed that the Leader, who ensured the country’s territorial integrity at a higher level than the people desired, intends to hide in the shadow of his Great Victory, even though he has the right to do so. not: He is determined to take Azerbaijan to the next goals – otherwise, he would not have demanded to “exploit the victory”, he would not have called for complacency, he would not have offered discussions for future national goals. However, he is a person who secured his political power for a thousand lifetimes.
However, Ilham Aliyev confirmed again and again that his goal is not political power, but the fate and future of the people, near, medium and distant national goals. On this path, Ilham Aliyev does not stop, he does not stop, he does not get tired – he solves the national problems that have been accumulated for decades and centuries by making maximum use of the opportunities and possibilities given by fate and history.
But that’s not all!
Ilham Aliyev’s political scope is much wider than we and the Westerners think: the more proud we are when we imagine its contours, the more European leaders who pursue some ambitious and regional political interests are afraid, worried and jealous!
No one wants to let this idea close that until yesterday, this small country, which was stuck in the grip of national conflict within its borders, has already crossed its borders: its voice comes not only from the South Caucasus, but also from the Mediterranean, the Black Sea, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe; no one can understand that in exchange for the political leader of the EU being honored in front of the whole world at a press conference in Africa, the leaders in Europe are already raising fighter jets to meet Ilham Aliyev’s plane; they do not want to accept that Ilham Aliyev, who nullifies the regional claims of global powers, does not take a single step back in ensuring the national interests of his people and state; they don’t even want to believe that this small country is becoming a “partner” of the powers that divide the world.
This is the demand of those who want to build a modern world order: a small country cannot be completely independent, it cannot insist on presenting its national interests, it cannot stand up to global pressures.
But there is a stop! Because the representative of this small country is global, multilateral, can evaluate political processes at a high level, draw conclusions, make accurate predictions, make the right choice and is determined, trusts himself, his people, his state and, of course, his chosen allies. Because he is reliable!
This is the reason why they care so much about the February 7 elections: Because Ilham Aliyev will not only be elected on February 7 – he will present a real sensation to the whole world: a person who has been in power for 20 years will win the next election with more than 98% of votes – with the full support of the people.
This is not an example in the history of the world.
Macron doesn’t have it either – he knows what level his rating has fallen to; Scholtz doesn’t have any – his rating has dropped below 25 percent in a year, and so on.
This is the reality, the truth: the whole world knows this reality. Well, why shouldn’t Ilham Aliyev’s team invite international observers to the elections, without exception, as even the European experts themselves admit, “the single candidate of the united opposition as a whole will definitely not be a competitor”? Why should he be wary of PACE? What kind of “fake” can PACE find so that Aliyev’s team is worried about it?
That is, the non-appearance of PACE is definitely not related to the observation of the elections; to say, the reason for not inviting PACE is completely different.
This “difference” lies in the position of the Council of the EU, the European Parliament, and the PACE against Azerbaijan;
For 30 years, our mosques have been razed to the ground, pigs have been kept in the only remaining mosque, our cemeteries have been destroyed, their marbles have been transported and used instead of concrete, their material and cultural wealth has been looted, villages and cities have been wiped from the face of the earth, even trees have been cut down and deserts have been created, thousand sq.km. International observers who “didn’t see” that millions of landmines were laid under the territory suddenly wanted to come to Karabakh for “Armenian heritage”, but they conducted monitoring and found nothing but good here, reported to the UN, and look at the horror that this report was submitted by the Council of Europe, AP is to be ignored by PACE!
How could the CoE institutions, which did not “see” so much injustice and all the positive aspects of the international organization’s report, observe the elections?
Azerbaijan showed its will against this injustice – it rejected the observation of this thousand-strong body on the election result, which was clear as day.
This is the anger of PACE: it cannot accept that a small country like Azerbaijan rejects so much pressure behind its back. And Azerbaijan resorted to the incredible injustice of not confirming the mandate of the delegation.
Our delegation at PACE has already made its decision – probably, such a demarche of our delegation without waiting for the result is a new surprise for them.
We do not think that there will be any results: everyone already knows by heart the characterless, chameleon politics of Europe – this phase will end after February 7 and after Ilham Aliyev receives a congratulatory call from influential world leaders, sees the exact result on the ground and reviews the level of the people’s unequivocal support for Ilham Aliyev once again. .
But this war will not end! Because there are national goals of Azerbaijan ahead.
Every time we step towards these goals, we will collide, the pressure will fall!
The main thing is not to turn back, not to shy away from the struggle, to march towards the national goal!
The main thing is the will, the national march, the new national struggle announced by Ilham Aliyev on January 10, which seriously worries Europe, reflects the fact that the Azerbaijani leader is not satisfied with the unparalleled successes achieved by him, and therefore makes the European leaders “out of his mind” and makes serious mistakes with emotional-panic decisions. stage.
Do you know what it looks like when PACE took away the right to vote and did not approve the mandate of the Azerbaijani delegation?
In the 44-day war, Nikol Pashinyan hit Ganja, Barda, Tartar with rockets!
Be absolutely sure – there is no difference between Pashinyan’s immorality of war, his cowardly attack on civilians outside the battlefield, and the pressure on our deputy team by those who don’t know who are now in front of Ilham Aliyev!
You can guess what the result will be from this comparison! The scene will be the same as if Pashinyan was unable to save Pashinyan from hitting Ganja, instead of the call to “stop the war” among the people, Ilham Aliyev created a tighter unity around him!
Those who encourage Pashinyan to attack Ganja make the same mistake – they have not yet learned the character of the Azerbaijani people.
But Ilham Aliyev knows!
Ilham Aliyev knows for sure that no one can stand before the will of the nation!
Because he knows for sure, he confirmed this national will to the people on February 7 and starts a new way!
May God bless our New Path!
