Hundreds of thousands of fans of Harry Potter’s sorcerer’s apprentice can now walk through the Forbidden Forest full of mysterious creatures, visit potions class, Hagrid’s hut and many other places. Platform 9 ¾ is not missing, from where the Hogwarts Express sets off into a world full of fantasywhose artistic renderings now have a unique opportunity for young and old to see in the Westfield Chodov shopping center in Prague 4.

“They can also get involved – play quidditch, i.e. throw a camrál in a hoop, watch and learn the waltz from the fourth part of the film series on weekends, test their knowledge in a quiz, or try the costume competition on October 15,” Kateřina Kleslová described to Bleska behind the center, in the corners of which you can also encounter Dobby the goblin or the malevolent wizard Lord Voldemort himself.
At your fingertips
The event is the first of its kind in the Czech Republic, so far the closest similar event was held in Vienna. But fans of the saga gather every year at a festival called LexiCon (formerly Potterfest). Rui Michael Carvalho Almeida (18, Znojmo) and his sisters Kimberley Lucia (9) and Isabella Sofia (13) were the first to go to Chodov s Blesk. “Playing Quidditch and touching the Hogwarts Express was great!” they agreed. Dorotka Heinrichová (9, Pilsen) walked through the Forbidden Forest and, together with Maria (15) and Michaela (12) from Prague, they all resisted the willow thresher in the Weasley family’s flying Ford.
It is both an experience and a phenomenon
Harry Potter and his extended world, known as the Wizarding World, represent a phenomenon that has touched millions of fans all over the planet. A magical realm created by writer JK Rowling offers not only the adventures of a young wizard. The complex and detailed fantasy universe includes Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for teenage wizards, magical creatures inhabiting the Forbidden Forest, but actually every place on Earth, magical artifacts and dark forces ruled by Lord Voldemort.
In the corridors of the center, well-known stars from the Potter stories are hiding, the house elf Dobby cannot be missing.
