The total number of households with residential land that need to be cleared is 229 households, of which 120 are resettlement cases. The government has completed counting and declaring the origin of land use for households cleared under the project.
Particularly for plots of land originating from encroachment and not eligible for compensation or resettlement, local authorities and relevant agencies are campaigning for people to return the land to the state.

The project belongs to ring road 3, connecting two satellite towns of Huong Tra and Huong Thuy with Hue city of Thua Thien Hue province. This is a special-level transportation project, selected through many competitions, with unique architectural ideas, in harmony with Hue landscapes, heritage and culture.
According to Hue City Land Fund Development Center, to construct the project, it is necessary to recover 356,705 square meters of land from more than 160 households in Kim Long and Duc wards, of which Duc Ward (the project’s south bank area) has 105 The land plot must be recovered.
To date, Hue city has approved a compensation and site clearance plan for 83/105 plots in Phuong Duc, with a total value of nearly 112 billion VND; There are still 14 plots that have not been approved due to lack of land appraisal results and 8 land recovery cases lacking confirmation of real estate status by local authorities.
Currently, only 53/105 plots in Duc Ward have been handed over, the remaining plots have been partially revoked, and people are being encouraged to continue handing over.
Households eligible for resettlement will be allocated land in Bau Va planning areas 3 and 4, Lich Doi area (Thuy Xuan ward, Hue city) to build stable housing.
At the project, there are many plots that still have problems with secondary households (living together on the same plot of land that has been revoked) related to household registration books. These cases do not fully meet the prescribed criteria for resettlement, so people have not handed over land to the state.

Compensation and site clearance for the Nguyen Hoang Street and Huong River overpass project still face difficulties when there are 15 households overlapping with the project of an extended walkway along the Huong River bank, continuing from Da Vien bridge to the section. near the intersection with Huyen Tran Cong Chua street in Duc Ward area.
In particular, households located right at the abutments of the bridge over the Huong River have not accepted the handover of the site because they still have questions about the resettlement arrangement policy.
