In seven key states that will play a decisive role in the upcoming November elections, the current US President Joe Biden’s popularity has decreased.
Publika.az According to Bloomberg’s monthly survey, Biden was leading in March and did well thanks to a strong performance and appeal to the national situation. However, already in April, the current president lost part of his popularity and electorate. The agency attributed this trend to voters’ pessimism about the country’s economic development.
So, according to the survey, Biden maintains his lead in only one of the seven states that are expected to be decisive in the election. Biden leads Trump by two percentage points in Michigan, but trails him slightly in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. In North Carolina, Georgia, Nevada and Arizona, Biden’s gap is more noticeable. The survey was conducted online between April 8 and April 15 among 4,969 registered voters in seven states. The poll’s average margin of error is one percentage point.
The presidential elections in the United States will be held on November 5, 2024.
