The killer got a job at a nursery

A 58-year-old Perm cannibal who dined on people, dogs and cats got a job at a shelter for homeless animals after leaving the colony, Liter.kz reports with reference to the Telegram channel SHOT.

Serial killer Mikhail Malyshev started eating pets when he was still a teenager. According to locals, young Misha made cat soup and almost fed it to his family. Then he switched to dogs. At 34, he met a girl, Inna Borovik, and made her his slave: he didn’t let her out of the house, raped her, and bit off the tip of her nose so that she would be afraid to run away.

It was Inna who invited the first victim to Malyshev’s apartment in 1999 – 16-year-old Natalia, a student at the Perm vocational school. The killer raped and killed her. Together with Inna, he minced her flesh and threw the remains into the Kama. A year later, a local worker, Anton, became the victim. Malyshev invited him to his place for a drink and shashlik, then killed him with an axe, dismembered him and also minced her.

After this murder, the cannibal was arrested. A refrigerator full of human and dog meat was found in his apartment. In 2000, the Perm cannibal managed to avoid a life sentence. He was sent to a maximum security prison in Chusovoy for 25 years. There, he worked in the kitchen and handed out food. After serving his sentence, Malyshev returned to the same apartment where he made cutlets out of people.

As SHOT found out, 58-year-old Mikhail Malyshev now lives alone. His mother occasionally visits him. He was taken to a local animal shelter through an acquaintance. The former convict builds dog houses, cleans the area, and cuts meat for the animals. For this, he is paid mostly in expired food.

Malyshev himself complains that he can barely make ends meet. He dreams of working as a security guard, because he has dedicated his entire life to weights and kettlebells – he hasn’t learned anything else. He says that in the 90s he started selling alcohol, and then it was like a fog. He assures that he is now a teetotaler.

There are no complaints about the man at the animal shelter. As the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed us, the ex-prisoner is under administrative supervision.

His former captive, according to former investigator Gulnara Abibulaeva, who led the Perm cannibal case, lives there, in the Perm region. She married a policeman.
