The International Tenge Ilu Federation was created

On the eve of the Asian Championship, which takes place in the Almaty region, the International Tenge Ilu Federation was created. Its founders were Kazakhstan, China, Mongolia and Hungary, Liter.kz reports.

A Kazakh entrepreneur, President of the Republican Tenge Ilu Federation Amangeldy Abdykadyrov was elected head of the International Federation, and Aibek Turkebay was appointed executive director. The vice-president of the created federation was the representative of China Zhi Zhiyauyin. The founders included the President of the Hungarian Ethnosports Federation, Attila Hottak, and the President of the Association of National Sports of Mongolia, Rom Aueshan. During the meeting, general provisions of tenge ilu sports were adopted and plans for the future were discussed.

During the meeting, the President of the Republican Tenge Ilu Federation Amangeldy Abdykadyrov dwelled on the results of the work done and introduced upcoming plans.

“Currently, intensive preparatory work is underway for the V World Nomad Games, which will be held in the fall in our country, and the selection of athletes to participate in them. To thoroughly prepare for this event, the national team participates in monthly training camps. In addition, the Asian Tenge Ilu Cup was held in April, and the Asian Championship starts today. Training camps will continue in August and September, then the national team will be finally formed, which will take part in the 5th WNG,” said the head of the federation.

In turn, vice-president of the Association of National Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tastanbek Yesentaev noted that interest in national sports is now growing in other countries.

“It is obvious that the creation of the International Tenge Ilu Federation will give additional impetus to the development of our national sport. I think that the V World Nomad Games, which will be held in Astana in September, will have a great influence on the popularity of national sports that glorify our traditions and values,” said T. Yesentaev.

Chinese representative Zhi Zhiyauyin noted the growing interest in the sport of Tenge Ilu in their country.

“Tenge ilu will help strengthen cultural and sports ties between countries. In the future, we will work to ensure that tenge ilu becomes a popular sport in our country,” she said.

“Many countries that develop equestrian sports, such as Korea, New Zealand, Bangladesh, Bulgaria, are showing interest in tenge il. Kazakhstan has great opportunities for the further development of this sport. After all, in every region and district of the country there are national sports schools, which annually hold various competitions in national sports among boys, youth, and adults,” said Rom Aueskhan, president of the Association of National Sports of Mongolia.

Let us remind you that today the Asian Tenge Ilu Championship among adults started for the first time in the Almaty region. Athletes from 10 countries take part in the two-day championship: Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Hungary, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Mongolia, China, Afghanistan, Russia.
