Taking into account the principle of zoning for the protection of the territory of the republic from those infectious diseases, the import of ungulates (cattle and small-horned animals, pigs, camels, etc.), as well as their raw materials and products, from within a 10-kilometer radius of the farm where the disease occurred in Sidi-Bu-Zid province and transit transportation, live poultry and hatching eggs, poultry meat, poultry meat containing poultry processing products and all types ready-made meat products obtained from poultry production (except for goods subjected to thermal processing that ensures the destruction of avian influenza viruses), poultry feed and feed additives for birds (except for feed and feed additives obtained by means of plant origin, chemical and microbiological synthesis), poultry a temporary restriction was applied to the import of equipment used for storage, slaughter and processing in accordance with WOAH’s “Terrestrial Animal Health Code”.

At the same time, in order to strengthen the control measures, the State Customs Committee was requested to take appropriate measures regarding the means of transport coming from those administrative territorial units or transiting and entering our republic, as well as transiting from the territory of the republic to other countries.
