The staff of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) again visited the persons of Armenian descent, about whom the Azerbaijani side informed in May.
Publika.az informs that this was reported by Ilaha Huseynova, head of the public relations department of the ICRC Azerbaijan representation, in response to the inquiry of “Report”.
He said that one-on-one meetings were held with the arrested persons and conditions were created for their contact with their families.
“In accordance with its mandate, the ICRC assesses the treatment and conditions of detention of persons detained during such visits. The ICRC also facilitates the restoration or continuation of relations with the families of the persons. In accordance with ICRC procedures, observations and recommendations regarding visits are shared only with the detaining party and discussed. is being done”, it was stated in the information.
