The 2024 high school graduation exam will officially take place from June 27 to 28 with a total of more than 1,071,000 candidates registered across 63 provinces and cities, and about 200,000 officials, teachers in the education sector, police, military, health, electricity… mobilized to participate in the organization of the exam.
According to a report from the Ministry of Education and Training, the 2024 High School Graduation Exam will be organized basically in a stable manner like the 2020-2023 period and according to the 2006 general education program.
Exam proctoring will take place on June 26, 27 and 28, exam marking will be carried out according to the general plan from June 29 to July 14, exam results will be announced at 8 a.m. July 17 at the Ministry of Education and Training and in 63 provinces and cities.
The total number of candidates registered for the exam is more than 1,071,000 across 63 provinces and cities, an increase of more than 45,000 candidates compared to last year. The exam has about 200,000 officials, teachers in the education sector, police, military, health, electricity… mobilized to participate in the organization of the exam.
From June 8 to June 18, 5 working groups of leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training and the National Exam Steering Committee inspected exam preparation work in 12 provinces and cities. Through monitoring the organization of the exam and the results of working groups with 12 localities, it shows that the localities are ready to organize this exam.
Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong, Head of the National Steering Committee for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam, also stated that with a large number of candidates and the exam being organized on a large scale, there are still some potential risks and complications from now until the exam takes place, such as weather, the use of high-tech devices for cheating, and the risk of power outages at some exam sites.
To organize the exam successfully, the Ministry has been strengthening the implementation of a number of solutions: “That is the work of leadership, direction, and thorough and thorough understanding of the Prime Minister’s tasks stated in the Directive.
