A total of 31 overs were played in the match in two innings. This is the shortest ODI match played on Australian soil. On the other hand, this is Australia’s biggest win in the history of winning matches with the ball in hand. The hero of this Aussie victory is named Jack Fraser-McGuirk. He played an innings of 41 runs off 18 balls in that match.
This time, Australia has taken Fraser-McGurk in the T20 squad against the West Indies. He may make his debut for Australia in the final match of the three-match T20 series in Perth on Tuesday.
Jos Hazlewood returned home after playing the second match of the series in Adelaide. Because of that, Australia will not have him in the final match. He has been rested to prepare ahead of the New Zealand tour. Another new cricketer Xavier Bartlett can debut in his place.
