The healing water source that thousands of people flock to from every corner of Turkey has dried up

A healing water source in the İznik district of Bursa, which people from all over Turkey flock to in search of a cure for their diabetes, has dried up. Citizens from different cities were shocked to see that the water had dried up.

It was claimed that the water coming from the foothills of the mountains in the Karatekin Neighborhood is a cure for diabetics, and that no one in the neighborhood, where 500 people live, has diabetes.

The water, which was thought to be good for the disease, was found to contain high amounts of boron in the analysis. Citizens who filled the water from the center of the neighborhood and the mosque fountain could also donate to the village mosque if they wished.

THE WATER SOURCE SUDDENLY DRIED UP

While the healing properties of water were being spread by word of mouth, the source of the water ran out two days ago and the water in the neighborhood dried up. BUSKİ teams started to supply the neighborhood with water tankers. The residents of the neighborhood said in their statements, “After they heard about our water, they flocked to our neighborhood and our water dried up. We don’t know what to do.” A citizen who came to the neighborhood from far away for water said, “I came from far away and suddenly I saw that the water was dry. I don’t know what to do, I’m in shock.”
