Minister Yerzhan Sadenov delivered a welcoming speech to the participants, who informed his colleagues about the measures taken by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan to strengthen law and order and combat crime.
The head of the Kazakh delegation declared its readiness for joint cooperation in countering new challenges and threats to security, including human trafficking, drug trafficking, cybercrime, and extremism.
Also during the summit sessions, participants discussed issues of improving the quality of police activities aimed at ensuring global security and sustainable development, as well as aspects of the participation of police units in UN peacekeeping missions.
On the sidelines of the summit, Minister Yerzhan Sadenov held a number of bilateral meetings with police chiefs from other countries, where they discussed prospects for expanding cooperation and exchanging experience in various areas of police activity.
