The Government of Cesar, Army and National Police commemorated Veteran’s Day

In an emotional ceremony held in the city of Valledupar, the Government of Cesar, together with the Tenth Brigade of the National Army and the National Police, commemorated Veteran’s Day, paying tribute to those who, with courage and sacrifice, defended the sovereignty and security of Colombia.

The day began with the delivery of a wreath in honor of all those who have served the country. Subsequently, a solemn Eucharist was held, in which veterans of the Military and Police Forces, local authorities and the community in general gathered, in a space of prayer and gratitude for the service provided to the country.

The central commemoration event took place in the Plaza de Banderas of the Cesar Governorate, where civil and military authorities and veterans gathered to pay tribute to his legacy. During the ceremony, seven veterans were decorated with the Faith in the Cause medals of the National Army, Faith in the Cause of the Colombian Navy, in addition to recognitions granted by the National Police and the Government of Cesar.

The commemoration of Veterans Day seeks to recognize the effort, bravery and sacrifice of those who have dedicated their lives to military service, remembering their commitment to defending democratic values ​​and the peace of the nation.
