After regional tours that extended for more than a year, during which the leadership of the National Rally of Liberals met with more than 10,000 elected representatives and male representatives in the twelve regions of the Kingdom, the national meeting was held in Agadir, today, Saturday, to present the party’s vision for improving the work of territorial groups and professional chambers, distinguished by the presence of the party’s president, Aziz. Akhannouch, leaders from the Political Bureau and parliamentarians.
The final national forum of the National Federation of Congregational Elected Persons was not without the president of the “congregationalists” sending messages to various addresses, the most prominent of which were carefully addressed to political opponents, as well as to the elected representatives of his party in the Moroccan groups, recording that “the government fulfilled a number of its obligations with the Moroccans, and we faced many challenges.” Despite all the circumstances you all know. There are still challenges and dates ahead of us that we must all succeed in, such as the African Cup and the World Cup… Therefore, we will keep pace with the cities that are expected to host these large international demonstrations at the level of infrastructure, aesthetics, and reception spaces, to be at the level of these global events.”
“We do not waste development time.”
Akhannouch assured his party’s electors, most of whom are heads of territorial groups or heads of chambers, that “we will also stand by your side so that you fulfill the obligations that bind you to male and female citizens,” denying that his party had “come to the plan to waste development time for Moroccans.”

The head of the party leading the government coalition pointed out that “we did not come to the plan to enter into empty conflicts with our allies, as was happening in the past. Rather, we are in the plan because we want comprehensive development for Moroccans.” He added: “We want the Moroccans to be comfortable with their future and the future of their children.” What is important to us is development and nothing but development,” stressing in the same context “the importance and centrality of the Moroccan family and its future.”
The government’s interim outcome
Regarding the interim government tally, “You followed with us the tally that I presented in Parliament, and it is a historical tally that we are proud of in the government and within the party, because it is the tally of Moroccans and for Moroccans,” says Akhannouch, explaining that it is “a tally that places the Moroccan family at the heart of all government policies.” What we did in two and a half years, no governments were able to accomplish in entire states,” he said.

“The interim outcome of our government seems to have caused confusion among some opposition parties,” Akhannouch said in another section of his speech, noting that “confusion is a normal thing in politics and did not prevent the government from fulfilling a number of commitments it made to Moroccans in two and a half years… and there is still a lot of work to be done.” He awaits us regarding the files of employment, water, and infrastructure.”
He stated, “The electoral results made our party understand the message that Moroccans want clear alliances and a committed government that achieves tangible achievements,” recalling that “when the government assumed responsibility, everyone was dissatisfied and the social dialogue stopped.” It was not possible for us to remain idle, and we said, despite the circumstances, we must live up to the aspirations of His Majesty, and the aspirations of the Moroccans who placed their trust in us, and to improve the economic and social situation.”

“We took responsibility, and considered two major issues to be a priority: first, overcoming the situation and its constraints, and preserving the purchasing power of citizens. Secondly, to continue consecrating the foundations of the social state and within the time specified for it according to the king’s vision.”
“We opened all the files and all the workshops in two and a half years: in education, in health / direct social support / health coverage for all groups / housing support / managing the drought crisis / overcoming water policy imbalances / the Al Haouz earthquake / social dialogue…”

“Pray for the elected officials”
The leader of the “Free People” recorded the necessity of not focusing only on the diagnosis, “because the diagnosis is known to everyone, and therefore the National Federation of Elected Persons must follow these workshops and plead these conclusions with the concerned parties and actors,” and “the Federation must plead on a number of issues that Concerns about improving earthworks.”
He addressed his party’s voters in the professional chambers and groups that “you must also share the vision with all bodies and institutions and with political parties as well, whether they are in the majority or in the opposition.”
In this regard, he said: “I looked at the book that you worked on and through it you presented a set of recommendations, the most important of which is the need to pay attention to the legal and institutional status of the elected officials, and regarding this point, you formed perceptions about the powers of the territorial councils.”

Akhannouch praised the achievement of his party’s elected representatives of “a clear vision about the powers that you believe should be in the elected councils and the chambers, so that they can implement their programmes,” noting the importance of “improving the financial and material situation of the territorial groups, and through your discussions and the recommendations that you came up with it became clear.” However, the groups were unable to respond to the coercions and could not implement their programs because of their financial situation.”
The vision of those elected from the National Rally of Liberals requires working on “four axes to improve the financial situation of the territorial groups.” The first is local levies, then the return on collective property, creating new mechanisms for loans and financing, as well as distributing the benefit from the value-added tax (TVA).
