The weekend in Rio Grande do Sul will start with sunshine, but is expected to end with rain in several places and also isolated thunderstorms, MetSul Meteorology predicts. The period, however, should be widely accessible for those who are on the beach or planning outdoor activities.
In Rio Grande do Sul the sun predominates, although clouds are present in some areas. In parts of the state the day will be very clear with moments of clear skies. Drier air acts on the Gaucho territory and provides sunny weather.
The morning will be a pleasant temperature and it will also be a little cold in Campos de Cima da Serra. The day will be hot. The heat will be greatest in cities in the north, northwest and west of the state, where maximum temperatures above 30ºC will be widespread with records between 32ºC and 34ºC.
In the eastern part of Rio Grande do Sul, however, it will be less hot and there will still be winds that at times will blow strongly on the beaches with the “Nordestão”. In Porto Alegre and most cities in the metropolitan region highs are expected to be around 30ºC in the afternoon.
Sunday in Rio Grande do Sul will pass with many hours of stable weather. In the morning the sun predominates in the state, so anyone who is on the beaches can enjoy the morning on the coast.
The scenario changes from afternoon to evening, when with warming heavy clouds will form in different parts of the state of Rio Grande do Sul with rain and thunderstorms. There is a risk of heavy to heavy rain as well as thunderstorms with squalls and hail, but we insist on localized weather.
Sunday will be hot, intense in some regions, in Rio Grande do Sul. Afternoon highs could reach 35ºC in Grande Porto Alegre and higher values in the valleys. The western border, north-west and north are also expected to have high temperatures above 30ºC.
