The 12 players are transported to a secret destination. There they will live together completely unaware of what they are supposed to do and what rules apply.
The house will be their home for the next twelve days and they will be filmed 24 hours a day. There is no hiding here. The game is guided by a voice, called Cube.
The game is unfair and tests the social strategies, mental strength, logic, personal character and cooperation of the participants. Every day they face a new match and a subsequent elimination. Nobody knows what the best strategy is.
The players themselves decide who leaves the villa. In the end, only one player remains the winner and thus secures the sum of money earned through the game.
These are the participants:
Danby Choi (30)
Editor-in-chief and author Danby Choi is among the contestants taking part in the new reality concept and is no doubt looking to win as he makes his reality debut.
He is ready to play the game and believes that to succeed you have to be rather cunning.
– It will be exciting to see how clever people are willing to be to win. It’s a social game, as I understand it, as long as the conditions are there, I will play, he told Nettavisen before recording.
Choi has made no secret that he finds the concept interesting and is happy to be exposed to situations where he has no control over what might happen.
– The fact that he doesn’t know anything is a little exciting, Choi said
Before recording even begins, however, the editor has already foreseen a possible challenge.
Choi likes to be surrounded by luxury and fears that the house where he will spend the next twelve days may be challenging.
– It will be exciting to go in there and share a room with many others. If I had to sleep on a single bed like you do at camp, that would be my biggest problem, he laughed and added:
– But I’ll probably make it.
Annette Hoff (62)
Actress Anette Hoff makes her first reality TV debut when she appears on the television screen in “The Game.”
Hoff made no secret that she is very excited, and above all a little nervous because she doesn’t know what awaits her.
– I know very little and it’s quite challenging. It’s the first time in my life that I dare to face such a challenge, so I feel very brave, she told Nettavisen.
Although the concept of reality involves competition, he still hopes it will be welcoming and something reminiscent of a holiday camp.
– Then I could be completely wrong, he said laughing.
For the 61-year-old actor, accepting to take part in a reality show was not a given. It took a long meeting with TV 2 before he dared to say yes.
– I made it clear that I’m the wrong person if the concept is similar to other programs out there. The most important thing for me is that it is a family entertainment program, she said.
Hoff is married to the actor Nils Ole Oftebro (79), who, among other things, worked as a presenter for the “Robinson Expedition” in the late 1990s. Hoff might say she received good advice from her husband regarding participating in the reality show:
– Those who manage to always have a positive attitude are the ones who do best. He also requires me to be a raw strategist, but I don’t know if I have that in me.
Erik Thorstvedt (61)
Former footballer and current football expert, Erik Thorstvedt has also thrown himself into a challenge that he has no idea what it is.
The offer of a big question mark has turned on all the thorns for one of the best Norwegian football goalkeepers of all time.
– I thought it was really cool to not know anything, that’s a big plus. In a very planned daily life it is very fun to end up in unknown waters, which is rarely experienced in modern times, he said she enthusiastically.
Thorstvedt hasn’t prepared anything in particular, but he believes that entering with an open sheet is a strategy that suits him.

In everyday life he plays a lot of chess on his cell phone, which, according to him, makes him a little sharper. At the same time, the 61-year-old admits that he may have a weakness that could bring him down.
– I’m not very good at reading other people. I usually trust what people say and don’t analyze much more, she revealed.
Henrik Fladseth (34)
Like Thorstvedt, comedian and actor Henrik Fladseth thought TV 2’s new adventure was exciting.
– This is a big investment here and there are many concepts of reality where you know what will happen. It seems very interesting to me that we don’t know anything else here other than that it’s some kind of social game, says Fladseth.
Fladseth believes that human and social skills apply in competition rather than physical attributes.
He was prepared to take it easy on corners and evaluate situations carefully before acting. It’s important to prepare yourself mentally, and regardless of what may happen along the way, it’s probably not that bad.
– I know it won’t be that bad. What’s the worst that could happen? There are twelve people in a room, there can’t be many surprises, she said.
Andersen Line (50)
Program host and former NRK profile Line Andersen broke her own promise when she took part in “The Game.”
Andersen made his debut on “71 Degrees North” in 2022 and from then on vowed to never participate in a reality program again.
– I said I would never do it again. At first I would never participate in any reality show, I would only participate in “71 Degrees North” and I was very happy with that.
– But then TV 2 called me and then I thought: “Father, it’s so boring to stay at home after Christmas, someone else is also sitting there having a lot of fun,” he told Nettavisen.
In addition to the above, these celebrities will be featured in the upcoming reality show “The Game”, which will go on TV on February 23:
Ida Elise Broch (36)
Marta Leivestad (29)
Martine Lunde (27)
Steffen Eriksen (59)
Hermann Dahl (21)
Victoria Schau (24)
Vidar Magnussen (45)
The program series originates from South Korea and several countries around the world have purchased it, but TV 2 is now the first to make it outside the homeland.
– “The Game” is an innovative and extremely exciting concept, which we hope will win over viewers. Not only is the competition itself exciting, but we also have a fantastic group of participants. It will be a nerve-wracking journey through twelve episodes, says Trygve Rønningen, program editor and director of content strategy at TV 2.
– We can’t wait to show “The Game” to our viewers. This is something they have never seen on Norwegian screens before, continues Rønningen.
