The Food Security Resilience (FSRP) project exposed its first contributions to the transformation of Malagasy agriculture at the International Agriculture Fair (FIA) which was held at the International-Anananarivo Madagascar Conference Center from 04 to 07 September 2025. Indeed, samples of seed technologies and prototypes of agricultural equipment (Hydro Tiller) as well as related studies have been exhibited there. These technologies are part of the first fruits of collaboration between national research centers (Fofifa, Fifamanor, CFFAMMA), the Official Seed Control Service (SOC) and International Research Centers Members of the CGIAR (Biodiversity-Ciatry-Ciat, Africa, CIP, ICRISAT, ICRISAT, ICRISAT) which was made possible through the FSRP project. On the one hand, these modern technologies are a source of hope for farmers to increase their yields and protect themselves from climatic challenges. Moreover, the increase in production and the improvement of resilience to climate change are among the expected effects of the project Following the popularization of technologies. This generated surplus will also contribute to the local availability of food and nutrients. On the other hand, collaboration with research centers Member of the Advisory Group for International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) gives access to innovative technologies that meet the ambitions for implementing large -scale agriculture. Because only agriculture that has become profitable can ensure better ability to get up after a shock (climate, economical, etc.). Finally, visitors to the FSRP Madagascar project stand have had the opportunity to know the project, to have access to the results of various studies funded by the project, to discuss directly with agricultural and livestock research specialists … and to discuss the possibility of future partnership.
