The Fruit of Athletes’ Hard Work, Badminton Indonesia Sends All Numbers to the 2024 Paris Olympics

JAKARTA – Tim Ad Hoc Paris 2024 Olympics PBSI M. Fadil Imran said he was very happy that badminton had succeeded in getting representatives in all sectors at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Of course, that was quite something to be proud of.

Later, Indonesia will be represented by Jonathan Christie and Anthony Sinisuka Ginting in men’s singles, Gregoria Mariska Tunjung and in women’s singles. There are also Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto in men’s doubles, Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti in women’s doubles, and Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari in mixed doubles.

Fadil Imran said he really appreciated the athletes’ efforts so they could advance to the 2024 Paris Olympics. Of course, they have a big chance of making Indonesia proud in that event.

“Thank God, we have reached an important milestone on the road to the Olympics. This is the fruit of perseverance in carrying out the process from athletes, coaches, officials and support teams. This achievement is also the result of an effective strategy in compiling a road map for athletes in participating in various tournaments throughout this year. “This is the result of collective work,” said Fadil Imran in his statement.

He said that after securing qualification for the Olympics, badminton athletes still had to fight to improve their favorable leading positions. This is what will be pursued in the Thomas & Uber Cup, until the Indonesia Open in early June.

“This also requires an accurate strategy and the readiness of the athletes. “Hopefully the certainty of this ticket will give new enthusiasm to the athletes and the entire team,” he said.

In Paris there will be a total of 172 athletes competing in five badminton sectors. At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Indonesia took home the women’s doubles gold medal won by Greysia Polii/Apriyani Rahayu and the men’s singles bronze medal won by Anthony Sinisuka Ginting.

“I appreciate all parties involved in the preparations for this Olympics because they have moved with one vision, one spirit, to give the best for the Red and White. “Thank you also to all Indonesian people who continue to give us prayers, support, criticism and suggestions,” he said.
