ROLE: INTENANT (F/M) – FRENCH EMBASSY IN SENEGAL – RESIDENCE – DAKAR
Brief description of the position
Hotel management, catering.
Logistics, real estate and technical management.
Organization and management of the resources and means of the French Residence.
Accounting monitoring.
Composition of the working group
Team of 8 LDAs (local legal agents): kitchen (2), bedroom (3), accommodation (2), technician (1).
Main activities
Organisation, implementation and control of the reception activity of the Head of Diplomatic Post, in particular during official visits, at the Residence or outside.
Inventory of available resources and planning of technical and budgetary needs.
Negotiation of services and supervision of external service providers and interested parties for reception, maintenance and routine maintenance activities (buildings, equipment, technical systems, green spaces, etc.).
Management and leadership of a team.
Support for safety and hygiene.
Management and monitoring of stocks in collaboration with the SGA (General Secretariat of the Embassy).
Maintenance of specific Residence accounts and management of the dedicated account.
Inventory keeping: cellars, furniture and works of art, in connection with the SGA: information from the INCA and RODIN databases.
Identification of opportunities for valorising state assets (APIE), communication and negotiation with partners. In relation to the EMS: development and signing of agreements.

Recommended qualifications or professional experience to carry out the position
Training in the hospitality/catering sector and significant experience in an environment similar in size and standing.
Experience in personnel management.
Logistical and technical skills.
Experience in keeping accounting records.
Knowledge of the Office suite, ability to develop and maintain dashboards.
B driving license is required.
Knowledge of English may be an added advantage.
