Andrey Kanchelskis, a former player of the Russian national team and Manchester United, confirmed that he had a fight in one of the bars in Moscow.
Publika.az reports that Kanchelskis confirmed the information in a conversation with “Sport24” reporter Vladislav Shapiro.
The two-time English champion said that he has filed a complaint with the police.
It was reported earlier that 55-year-old Kanchelskis needed medical help after a fight at the facility located at Tverskaya-Yamskaya 1. The incident happened after the final of the European Championship.
“Yes, I had a fight with someone at the bar, I won’t say whether we know each other. We just didn’t agree, we couldn’t solve a personal issue with him.
Everything is fine with me now, I am in Moscow, safe and sound.
Do they write that I am knocked out? Listen, if I had been knocked out, I wouldn’t be talking to you right now. They argued, and I fought back. Don’t worry, the argument wasn’t about the European Championship final.
These are our personal tensions, but I have filed a police report against them. What happens next and how our personal business is, we don’t want to advertise it in any way. A trial is possible and I will wait for the decision. We will do everything within the law,” Kanchelskis said.
