The first team’s target is to qualify for the last 16 of Euro 2024, Germany is ready to beat Hungary

GERMAN – German national team coach Julian Nagelsmann stated that his team has the ambition to win over Hungary. If they win, they will become the first team to qualify for the last 16 of the 2024 European Cup because they have collected six points from two matches.

The meeting between the two teams is in the second match of the Group A phase of the 2024 European Cup. The match will be played at the Stuttgart Arena, Wednesday (19/6/2024) at 22.00 WIB.

“We have prepared well. The players have a few hours to relax and meet their families,” said Nagelsmann as quoted on the German football federation’s website, Wednesday (19/6/2024).

The 36 year old coach said his team had dissected Hungary’s strength. This is so that Die Mannschaft – the German national team’s nickname – can dampen the opposing team’s play.

“We did a complete analysis of Hungary and got a clear picture of their playing style,” he said.

Nagelsmann said victory was his team’s main target in the upcoming match. So, German national team will be focused throughout the match and not underestimate the opposing team. “In the end, our main target is to win,” he said.
