It is known that journalist An Duyet has two famous children who followed their father’s career: Editor Tran Quang Minh and Editor Ha Trang – Head of Technology Department of VTV2.

Following his father’s “flag”, BTV Quang Minh has devoted decades to VTV. He completed a 3-year Radio and Television course in Cuba in 2001 and then became a Spanish translator for Vietnam News Agency. In 2002, Quang Minh joined VTV3, making his mark through a series of game shows such as “Tre tre lua chinh”, “Doi mat”, “Chung toi la chien si”…

Editor Thu Uyen was born into an intellectual family in Hanoi. When she was young, she studied at the Moscow Institute of International Relations, graduating with a degree in diplomacy. After studying abroad for 6 years, she returned home to build her career, but then fate led Thu Uyen to become a beautiful, famous female MC of Vietnam Television at that time.

Journalist Ta Bich Loan: The “powerful” woman of VTV
Journalist Ta Bich Loan (born in 1968), began to be known to the public as the MC – Editor of a series of programs on VTV such as: Seven colors of the rainbow, Contemporary people, Contemporary stories, Startup… With the program Road to Olympia, she not only took on the role of host but was also the scriptwriter – the one who came up with the idea of the laurel wreath for the winning contestant.

Talking about her impressions when she first started working at VTV, journalist Ta Bich Loan said: “Remembering the day I first joined VTV, many people asked me whose family I was. And, if not whose family I was in the sense we all understand, then how did I get into VTV?”
“At that time, getting a job at VTV was extremely difficult and it was the dream of many people. However, the truth is that I was accepted quite freely and easily, without having to go through many administrative procedures, not even having to take exams. We were trusted to try out what we wanted to do and received great support right from the first steps.”
Looking back on her past experiences in the profession, journalist Ta Bich Loan realized that she gained a lot from working in television. “It was being able to feel the energy from Vietnamese people, listen to their stories, and share to multiply good lessons.
We journalists play the role of a bridge to spread simple and profound stories of Vietnamese people to Vietnamese people. That is both our duty and the joy of our profession.
