The film “Friday Mwangolé” is officially released in cinemas

The film “Friday to Mwangolé”, made by Hochi-Fu Vision in partnership with the largest multiplex cinema operator, Cinemax, was officially released this Thursday, (13), in Luanda.

The scenes were starred by five comedians, namely Perry, Gody, Dibá, Richa Gago and Ya Papy, and also included the participation of singers such as The Twins, Doutor Smith, K Pinha, among others.

The film that narrates the lives of young Angolans, was starred by five comedians well known to the public, Perry, Gody, Dibá, Richa Gago and Ya Papy, recorded in Luanda and has already been translated into four different languages, English, French, Mandarin and Dutch, is a comedy, which portrays the daily lives of five young people who reserve Friday for their leisure, fun and adventures.

Richa Gago, one of the film’s main actors, who participated in a feature film for the first time, was very happy to see the result of what was the realization of one of her dreams and life goals. “This was the biggest challenge of my life… The proposal was presented to me and I couldn’t refuse it,” she declared.

According to the film’s producer and director, Hochi-Fu, the biggest difficulties imposed on him in recording this film were financial ones, as he did not have any sponsorship.

“You can expect from this film, joy, good humor and a lot of Angolanness, I think the time has come to tell our story”, he said.

Several prominent figures from the Angolan artistic and cultural circle were present at the film’s premiere, as well as specialists in the cinematographic field, including scriptwriters, producers and specialized journalists.

The film marks the beginning of Hochi-Fu’s journey as a filmmaker, after having already established himself in the music market.

“Friday Mwangolé” is produced by Hochi-Fu, co-executive produced by Artémio and Gino Leve and distributed by Biznes Label.
