The entire women’s team

The President of the Republic gives pride of place to women in the exercise of power

with the recent appointment of Malalatiana Mahanina Rakotoniaina as Director of Presidential Projects (DPP). The female team of the Presidency of the Republic is complete and will certainly be presented on March 8 in Taomasina, on the occasion of the international women’s day.

Presidential Projects

The position is reduced to a management level if the former holder, in this case, Augustin Andriamananoro had the rank of Director General of Presidential Projects (DGPP). The newly appointed DPP will work in complementarity with Bangomalala Andriamasinoro who is the Director in charge of the Coordination of Presidential Promises (DCPP). In carrying out the presidential projects, the two women will be supported by the new Director of Infrastructure and Logistics (DIL), Victorine Rasoamiadana, who has headed INJET since the owner of the first digital printing company entered politics.

Collective

The DPP – DCPP – DIL triplet will play it collectively with the rest of the team made up of Lova Hasinirina Ranoromaro, Director in charge of International Affairs (DAI) and Spokesperson for the President of the Republic; Mercedes Ratsirahonana, Director of Communications (DirCom); Anne-Muriel Raharimanana, Director of Cultural and Community Relations (DRCC); Eliah Ravelonjato, Director of Republic Events; Angolatiana Razafindrakoto, Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs (DAF) and Christiane Andriamampiandra, Director of Legal Studies (DEJ).

Not renewed

The DAF and the DEJ were not among the Directors whose appointments were revoked by President Andry Rajoelina during the last council of ministers of his first term. 4 of the 10 Directors “thanked” by the president candidate the day before his resignation have not been reappointed or reappointed until now. They are Jimmy Raharinosy, former Director of the IT System of the Presidency; Richardson Rakotomanana, outgoing Director of Grievances. For their part, Mino Tiana Andriamaromizah, Anja Ramanampisoa and Michelle Ratsivalaka, their former respective positions of DIL, DAL and DRCC are already filled.

DirCab

In any case, they will neither be the first nor the last Directors to get off the TGV. To recall only Stéphanie Delmotte and Vahinala Baomiavotse who had in turn held the position of Director of the Civil Cabinet of the President of the Republic. The current DAI is also a former DirCaB. Without forgetting Romy Andrianarisoa whose trip aboard the Eurostar ended badly in London. She was replaced at short notice by Brigadier General Jean-Yves Rasolondraibe who was to be transferred to the post of Director of Presidential Security (DSP) to make way for the new DirCab, Elysa Rakotonirina.

DPE

There were also Rinah Rakotomanga and Soatiana Rajoelisolo who took turns as Director of Communication and Public Relations (DCRP). Relocated to 4, Avenue Raphaël, 75015 in Paris, the first was subsequently to give up his position as Advisor to the Madagascar embassy in France, to Espérance Pelandroy who was previously the Secretary General of the Presidency (SGP). As for the position of Director of State Protocol (DPE) briefly occupied at the start of the first five-year term by Lila Andriambalo, it is still vacant. We must expect the appointment of another descendant of Eve as DPE so that the female team of the Presidency is truly complete.
