The digital cover of La Gaceta hacked

Yesterday at approximately 23.40 the digital platform of La Gaceta suffered a hacking that forced to suspend the publication of our site both in its mobile and desktop version (Desktop). Two and a half hours later our computer technicians and specialists managed to restore the complete functioning of the newspaper.

As we could detect those who violated our control panels affected a dozen notes that were in the home (online cover) and left where the title and descent of the note was a legend that said t.me/movimiento tacuara.

The Tacuara nationalist movement referred to was a Falangist, fascist and neo -Nazi Argentine political organization that acted between 1957 and 1966. On April 4, 1964, the Federal Police of that time reported that from January to November 1963 the members of the Tacuara Revolutionary Nationalist Movement had starred in 43 terrorist events.

The intervention on the digital site of La Gaceta was accompanied by the insertion of images. On the cover they put a photo of the typical Nazi greeting raising their right hand and also added photos of skulls.

Other cases

These last images appeared on the scope site when he was hacked last June 13 although there the legends were others. Previously they also suffered cyber attacks such as these profile newspapers and the union of Catamarca. Identical damages received the page of the Argentine government.gob.ar.

We apologize to our audience for the inconveniences caused and for having interrupted our communication. We especially thank all those who with concern and respect communicated to our writing offering help and expressing their solidarity and concern for what happened.
