You may have noticed that both white and brown eggs are available in stores. While there is speculation from time to time about which eggs are healthier or tastier, you’ll probably be a little disappointed by how primitive the answer is. White and brown eggs are indeed different, but not in composition, quality, nutritional value or taste. The only difference is that white eggs come from chickens with white feathers, brown eggs come from chickens with brown feathers. I think you’ve broadened your horizons a bit more, however keep reading because you could talk about eggs for hours.
Why are eggs different sizes?
On the plate with the eggs we find their size indicated, i.e. S, M, L or even XL. It is not determined by the circumference, but by the weight of the egg. The eggs are sorted in the sorting station and then assembled with eggs of the same weight in a tray. The size of the eggs is related to the age of the hen. The older the chicken, the bigger the egg.
Eggs from a nutritional point of view.
Each large egg contains 6.5 g of protein, all 9 essential amino acids, and 14 important nutrients, including iron, zinc, folic acid, or vitamins A, D, and E. One large egg contains approximately 80 calories. What about sugars? No horror. When you serve two larger eggs, they get 1 g of sugars.

Why is each yolk a different yellow?
The color of the yolk is influenced by the hen’s diet. A higher wheat content will guarantee a light yellow yolk, on the other hand, corn or alfalfa will guarantee a deep yellow yolk. If your egg yolk is too orange to smile on your face, you can count on it being colored by dietary supplements. And if the yolk has no color, you believe that the hen that laid the egg was not very well and did not experience quality nutrition.
