11-year-old autistic girl Adhara Pérez Sánchez has a higher IQ than Albert Einstein and completed her Master’s degree after experiencing an uneventful childhood. In 2019, at the age of 8, Adhara was on the list of 100 most powerful women in Mexico voted by Forbes Mexico magazine.
Childhood was bullied by friends and ignored by teachers
The child prodigy Adhara was born in 2011 in an ordinary family in a low-income neighborhood in Mexico City (Mexico).
Despite facing bullying, Adhara graduated from primary school at the age of 5 and completed secondary school in just 1 year.
At age 3, Adhara was diagnosed with a developmental disability after her speech significantly declined.
Adhara remained innocent, not realizing her own differences, and only when she reached school age did the nightmare really begin. Adhara’s mother, Nallely Sanchez, revealed that her daughter had to change schools three times and had to overcome many hardships in school life.
While going to school, Adhara was often bullied and ridiculed as a “weird” and “eccentric”. “One day Pérez was playing in the model house when his friends locked the door, locked the child inside and beat loudly into the house. I didn’t want my daughter to suffer like that.”Ms. Nallely recalled.
“The teachers were not very sympathetic. They always told me that they wished Adhara could complete her assignments. She felt it and started to distance herself, not wanting to play with her classmates.” She also revealed that Adhara is very depressed because people do not sympathize.
Despite difficulties, Adhara completed elementary school at age 5, middle school at age 6 and finished high school at age 8, according to The People. However, intentionally or unintentionally, teachers at the school did not discover her talent.
Following the doctor’s advice, Adhara’s family sent their daughter to a talent development center for special students.
