The cost of 1 kilo of rice was announced in Edirne

(EDIRNE) – The cost price of one kilogram of paddy to the producer in Edirne has been determined. In the calculation made by the Ipsala Chamber of Agriculture, Commodity Exchange and Paddy Producers Union, the cost of 1 kilogram of paddy was determined as 30 lira 05 kuruş.

The cost of paddy rice for 2024 was announced at the meeting held with the participation of the presidents of the Ipsala Chamber of Agriculture, Ipsala Commodity Exchange, Karasaz Irrigation Cooperative, Young Businessmen Association, Paddy Producers Union, Yenikarpuzlu Irrigation Cooperative. Accordingly, it was reported that the cost of 1 kilo of paddy rice is 30 lira 05 kuruş. The price of paddy rice has not been announced yet.

The cost report for paddy included the following:

“Paddy license fee: 35 TL, rental fee: 8 thousand TL, fuel fee (ploughing, channel opening, levelling, cleaning): 1 thousand TL, fertilizer fee: 1 thousand TL, organic substance supplements for soil improvement and reclamation: 400 TL (sulfur, leonardite etc.), seed fee: 1 thousand 100 TL, agricultural control and control labor: 2 thousand 500 TL (weed control drugs, fungicides and labor), water fee: 1 thousand 500 TL, labor fee and food fee: 1 thousand 300 TL (master, driver, cook, daily wage fee), Tarsim insurance fee: 300 TL, financing expenses: 500 TL, depreciation maintenance and repair expense: 1 thousand TL, harvest: 1 thousand 800 TL (mowing, drying, transportation), storage: 600 TL, paddy cost per decare 21 thousand 35 TL, average yield per decare “700 kilograms, 1 kilo of paddy cost 30.05 TL.”
