On the morning of December 21, when dozens of 11th grade students at Hermann Gmeiner Vinh High School were studying, the classroom ceiling suddenly collapsed, causing injuries. Many students were taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
The incident happened around 8 a.m. on December 21, in room 26, class 11A9, Hermann Gmeiner Vinh High School (Vinh City, Nghe An). While 50 students in the class were studying, the ceiling suddenly collapsed. The incident caused many children to be hospitalized.

Talking to reporters, Principal of Hermann Gmeiner Vinh School Tran Thi Thu Hien informed that after the incident, the school took the children to the emergency room. 2 to 3 children were injured and scratched, the remaining children were injured. there is mental panic. Currently, we do not know the specifics of the children’s situation. An assistant principal at the hospital is being assigned to monitor and support the children at the hospital.
Immediately after the incident, it was noted at the scene that almost the entire ceiling made of wood had collapsed, and some student desks were crushed by concrete blocks from the concrete beams on the collapsed floor.
