“Hraparak” newspaper writes: “We learned from an official source that after Nikol Pashinyan’s visit to Syunik, dark clouds gathered over the head of the representative of the government in ZPMK, member of the CP Narek Babayan, who, like other members of the Kapan Territorial Council, received a written reprimand in the Kapan CP for intra-party wrangling. However, there are reports that in the case of Babayan, Pashinyan will not be satisfied with a reprimand, because other news have reached his ears.
According to them, the “Annar” company of Narek Babayan’s friend is carrying out the earthworks and transportation of the combine, and Babayan played a big role in stopping the cooperation with some companies and trusting the company owned by his friend. It is assumed that the owners of the companies deprived of contracts “died” under Babayan’s feet, delivering unwanted information to Pashinyan.
The problem is not that Babayan, who lives modestly, has started to live very well, but that the KP has already started preparing for the upcoming elections, and Pashinyan has serious fears that the KP will lose several hundred votes in this area as a result of Babayan’s activities. :
Our sources say that Pashinyan is considering the issue of removing Narek Babayan from ZPMK, replacing him with a more circumspect and modest representative, and intends to discuss this issue first in a narrow circle at the party meeting to be held in Jermuk on June 22.
