On Wednesday, June 19, 2024, the Deputy Mayor for Social Solidarity – Protection, Preschool Age, Equality, Combating Discrimination & Gender-Based Violence, Ms. Sofia Markoula, visited the under construction “Center for Children” together with officials from the Technical Service of the Municipality, as well as of the Departments of Programs and Programming, Support for Persons with Disabilities of the abolished N.P.D.D. O.K.P.A.P.A., in order to be informed about the progress of the work. At the site, they met with a representative of the technical company that has undertaken the project and were given a tour of the interior of the building, in which two K.D.A.P. with A and a K.D.A.P. for typically developing children.
The work on the interior is very close to being completed, and the shaping of the exterior is progressing.
It is a real gem, which will upgrade the area.
